Information We Collect

The Institute for Human Advancement collects information you provide directly to us, such as when you fill out a contact form, request information, or make a donation.

This information may include your name, email address, organization name, and any other information you choose to provide.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and requests
  • Process donations and provide tax receipts
  • Send you information about our work (with your consent)
  • Improve our website and services

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

Text messaging opt-in data and phone numbers are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Mobile information is used solely to deliver the care-coordination messages described below and is not sold, rented, or shared for any other purpose.

Text Messaging (SMS) Program

Members enrolled in an IHA care-management program may separately choose to receive text messages from their care team — appointment reminders, care-coordination check-ins, and related follow-ups. This is a distinct, optional consent, given directly to a licensed care navigator; declining to receive texts, or opting out later, does not affect enrollment or access to care-management services in any way.

Message frequency varies based on your care plan. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Text message content and delivery records are stored securely and used only to support your care coordination. This program is not used for marketing and is never used for two-factor authentication.

Data Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights and are required to keep the information confidential.
